So for dinner my family had swank. or sweink. I don't know how to spell it. It's some German food that my dad bought from some German store that just opened up in the Springs. He bought 5 pounds of it. If you don't know what it is, it is steak-like piece of pork that is marninated in some kind of sauce that has onions in it. We then wrapped it in aluminum foil and grilled it up. Yeah, it sounds good. I just hope my dad nevers brings home a gallon bucket full of Swank ever again.
Again I forgot the picture. I always remember to take the picture when I'm at the end of my meal. Sorry!
Schnitzel Fritz? Haha that's going to be my
firstborn son's name
I found a good beef and pork recipe and history
of the schwenk at

ssbratenSchwenkbraten.htm
I'll have to try it.
When we lived in Germany my family ate it all
the time....but the meat that we got from
Schnitzel Fritz, the new store, was

It's spelled schwenk. I figured it out!
That does sound pretty good! That recipe uses
beef though and what we had was pork. Maybe next
time we can try this recipe!
I tried to look it up and didn't find too much,
but I did find this
recipe: http://www.ifood.tv/recipe/swank_steak
It looks pretty good!
